There will always be a need for dedicated tool companies but there is a growing trend where the service companies are performing more specialized projects themselves. Another part of our mission is to pass on our knowledge and experience to the service companies and their personnel to be successful in these more challenging projects. With competency certificates being issued for successful candidates, this will give the operating companies confidence to undertake these projects successfully and put your company ahead of others.

Two-day Classroom course for service company Coiled Tubing Engineers, Supervisors and Operators 

This course will provide students an opportunity to be competent in the Planning, Preparation, Make-up, and Running of Coiled Tubing Tools.

There are five modules, Basic Tools, Milling/Rotational Tools, Fishing Tools, Abandonment tools and stuck pipe prevention. There is a multiple-choice questionnaire after each Module. The required pass mark on all modules is 85%. Certificates will only be issued to those that pass. Electronic copies of all results/certificates will be passed on to customer management.

Identifying the key Coiled Tubing tools and components used in well interventions.

Maintenance and inspection procedures for CT tools.

Selection criteria for downhole tools and equipment.

Pre run checks.

BHA make-up procedures.

Function testing.

Best practices & running procedures.
